Who we are

This website and January Sorted are run by Mobmodz Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11328121), registered office 447 Staines Road West, Ashford, England, TW15 2AB. VAT number GB500025370. Contact: samfisher@mobmodz.com. We are the data controller for personal data described here.

What this website collects

This site has no analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own. We only collect personal data if you buy (see Payments) or sign up for the free checklist (see below). Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability for a short period.

Email sign-ups (free checklist)

If you request the free checklist, we collect your email address, your first name (optional) and your consent. The form is processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., our website host, acting as our data processor. We use your details only to send the checklist and occasional Self Assessment deadline reminders from January Sorted – never for anything else, and we never sell or share them. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing samfisher@mobmodz.com; we keep sign-up details until you unsubscribe.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you buy, Stripe collects your name, email, payment and billing details to process the payment and prevent fraud. We receive order details (such as your name, email and what you bought) to provide the download and support. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how Stripe uses data.

Your spreadsheet data

The tracker is a file that runs on your own computer or Google account. We never see what you type into it.

Why we use your data

To fulfil your order and provide support (contract), to keep financial records (legal obligation), and to prevent fraud (legitimate interests). We don’t sell your data or send marketing unless you opt in.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for HMRC tax and VAT records. We then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing samfisher@mobmodz.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
